For the Company Eklabul, the Show Must Go On

A leader in circus and performance entertainment in the PACA region, particularly between Saint-Tropez and Monaco, Eklabul—headquartered at 2121 chemin de Saint-Bernard—is feeling the full impact of the economic situation and the health constraints imposed by the coronavirus, much like other sectors of tourism and events. Affected but far from defeated! Following the Christmas holidays, acrobats, trapeze artists, jugglers, tightrope walkers, stilt walkers and unicyclists, comedians, actors, and entertainers can no longer perform for the moment during shows, birthdays, weddings, street events, hotel animations, holiday residences, campsites, and other congresses in which they used to participate. “Since the end of February, many scheduled events have been abruptly canceled, such as MIPIM, which we were supposed to attend,” indicates Eklabul manager, Thomas Sommer. “And since mid-March, activity has come to a complete standstill. Everything is canceled until the end of May, and for the upcoming summer season in July and August, we are in a state of expectation, waiting for announcements and instructions from the government.”
