2025 Mimosa Festival in Mandelieu-La-Napoule: A Journey to the Heart of Traditions!
From 8 to 12 February 2025, Mandelieu-La-Napoule, the Mimosa capital, celebrated the iconic Mimosa Festival, a colourful and festive event that showcased the region’s nature, culture and traditions.
Under the artistic direction of Thomas Sommer, the 2025 edition drew inspiration from the regions of France, celebrating local customs through the theme ‘La Grande Vadrouille des Régions’ (The Great Tour of the Regions). It was a true journey through traditions, from the Provençals to the Basques, the Corsicans to the Bretons, and many more!
The Mimosa Festival Programme for 2025:
Wednesday 12 February – Children’s Carnival and Concert
The festivities kicked off in style with a children’s carnival on Place de France. The youngest children were amazed by the ‘Secrets of Pirates’ show and the artists walking about the square. They also enjoyed many activities, such as inflatable structures and an acrobatic course, as well as a boom party with confetti and balloons, for moments of pure joy!
Friday 14 February – Gallic Banquet and Fireworks
14 February was an evening of conviviality with the grand Gallic banquet on Avenue Henry Clews and Plage du Château. Food trucks, walkabout artists and live music came together to offer a gourmet and festive experience. The evening ended with a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the sky, followed by a rousing concert.
Saturday 15 February – Night Parade and Mimosa Village
The festivities continued on Saturday at the Place de France, where visitors were able to explore a market featuring mimosa-themed creations by local artists, while discovering walkabout performers. The evening took a magical turn with the Grand Night Parade, where 12 illuminated floats paraded through the streets in a magical atmosphere. After the parade, musical entertainment and food trucks enlivened the square, while a concert brought the evening to a close in style!
Sunday 16 February – The Grand Corso and Flower Battle
Sunday was the highlight of the festival with the Grand Corso, a spectacular parade of floats decorated with mimosa, which wound their way through the streets of La Napoule. Companies from all over France took part in the walkabout, offering a variety of entertainment, music and circus acts.

For the launch of the 2025 Lemon Festival – Voyages dans les Étoiles (Journeys in the Stars), Eklabul provided entertainment during the poster presentation with various activities, aerial acrobatics, acrobatic lifts, stilt walking, light juggling, and more.
The Eklabul company hosted the third edition of the cultural event organised by the City Council and the tourist office on 5 and 6 October in the heart of the city. The theme of this event was ‘Journey through the ages’ and it brought together historical figures and costumed groups, creating a carnival atmosphere.
Eklabul was present at the Cagnes racecourse with its ‘Mirror to the Future’ and ‘White Mystery’ parades. Numerous artists provided entertainment for the event, including stilt walkers, bubble blowers, jugglers, acrobats, saxophonists, violinists, aerial hoop performers on aerial bikes and a DJ. The artists performed walkabouts in front of the stands between each race, creating a festive atmosphere.
The children were welcomed by Paf, a very funny clown balancing on a giant ball, and a juggling stilt walker. Eklabul was in charge of the circus entertainment! The entertainers introduced the children to various circus skills such as juggling (balls, diabolos, clubs, etc.), balancing (rolabola, balance balls, slacklines, etc.), acrobatics (acrobatic bases on mats) and other games of skill!
Eklabul had the honour of installing its Champagne chandelier in the Château de la Napoule located in Mandelieu la Napoule. During this private party, our acrobat artist welcomed guests by serving them glasses of champagne while performing various acrobatic tricks!
On Friday 24 November, during the associations night in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Eklabul offered several artistic performances in the form of a cabaret (aerial umbrella, aerial silk, balloon man, magic, balance poles). Eklabul closed this dinner show by hosting the dance party!
For a corporate congress held at the Casino de Deauville, our team of eight artists from the French Riviera travelled to the Normandy coast to perform four circus walkabouts on the following themes: Superheroes, Star Wars, Hollywood and French cinema.
Take a look back at this highly comical performance!
For a birthday celebration in the hills above Monaco, our Eklabul artist, who specialises in contortion and balancing techniques, performed a beautiful sequence combining flexibility and elegance on a floating platform suspended above a pool.
